On the Lake at the Refuge...

I arrived at the lake at 9am, it was very bright but very cold, which is excellent for the trails.
Crazy Al asked me to come out and see his Inn, now that it is finished.

The Chalet on the left, is his new project that is now complete. On the right above the heated sled garage
are rooms Alouette and Balade. The two white doors below are for the sleds.
In the centre is a connecting hallway.

On the right and left, we have Al and his lovely wife Claudine, daughter Meagan is in the centre.
The guests today are John and Michael Miceli of Connecticut.

Dad checks the maps before taking his son out on his very first ever ride.

The boys pull the sleds out of the garage.

This is Dad's sled. Yaaaaaa..........

Michael warms up the rental and looks back at me,
and the smoke rolls out from under the sled.

They ride down onto the lake in front of the Refuge for some training time.
Safety first, especially with the young riders eh?

John's sled has these little stick on mirrors that will help him see what is behind him,
not to mention, avoid a ticket.

On the lake, there are about twenty guys dragging back and forth.
Father and son head out onto the lake.

After that, the boys headed out onto the trails. Even the local trails are in good shape today.

Onto the 343, and off for a fabulous day of riding.
An unforgettable day!
